We are hiring Ship Fitters for immediate work in Mosspoint, MS. 




Ship Fitter Job Work Overview:
The Shipfitter is responsible for assembling and erecting structural steel during various stages of ship hull construction. The shipfitters will also build all interior structures such as hatches, doors, and bulkheads to complete all the steel work in the ship. All Ship Fitters will be working at minimum 5 x 10s. At this time this job is only taking Non-Local Ship Fitters. The fitters will be working 50+ hours a week. 


Ship Fitter Applicant Requirements: 
Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent field experience in a shipyard as a Shipfitter 
Must be able to read blueprints proficiently, do layouts, and tack weld 
Must be able to fabricate metal structural parts, components and entire structures 
Must be able to layout, burn and prepare plate and pipe for installation 
Must pass a pre-employment drug test 
Must have a current resume
